ASSIGNMENT TITLE: CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE ENGAGEMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERS

Epic Nigeria, through funding from USAID is supporting the government of Nigeria to strengthen the use of liquid medical oxygen (LOX). The hospital based LOX system, known as a vacuum insulated evaporator (VIE) system. Typically comprises a bulk cryogenic liquid storage tank and a vaporizer that passively converts the liquid into gas is being installed across six facilities (Federal Medical Center Owerri, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Federal Medical Center Yenagoa, Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi, and Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafiya). Each health facility will require a bulk tank of 10,000 cubic meters, infrastructure upgrade, piping of 150 beds and six (6) months’ supply of LOX for supply efficiency and to meet the demands for medical oxygen.
