The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) is the regulatory body that see through the activities of the entire value chain of the electricity market in Nigeria and in accordance with the order on procurement by successor Electricity Distribution Licenses (DisCOs) for the execution of the Capital Projects with the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN) CAPEX loan, all Electricity Distribution Licensees are mandated to engage the services of qualified and competent potential bidders to ensure the execution of Capital projects within their franchise network.
