The Federal Republic of Nigeria [hereinafter called “Borrower”] has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) [the “Bank”] in the form of a credit [hereinafter called “credit”] toward the cost of the Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) project. The State Malaria Elimination Programme (SMEP) under the Lagos State Government, Ministry of health, an implementing Agency of the client, intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for the Procurement of Long-lasting Insecticide Treated Net (Mass Campaign & Routine Distribution – under Component two of the Project). For this contract, the borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.
