1. INTRODUCTION
NIGERIAN BULK ELECTRICITY TRADING PLC (NBET) was incorporated in 2010, as part of the power sector reform agenda of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN). The goal was principally to incentivize investment in electricity generation, particularly during the transition period from public to private sector ownership and management of the generation and distribution segments of the electricity value chain.
