1. This request for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this programme that appeared in African Development Bank Group Internet Website (www.afdb.org) of 21st May, 2019.

2. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Bank (the Bank), toward the cost of the Programme for Integrated Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Niger Basin (PIDACC/NB) in Nigeria and intends to apply part of the agreed amount to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services (Individual) Recruitment of a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert for the Programme for Integrated Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Niger Basin (PIDACC/NB)-Nigeria Component. PIDACC/NB-Nigeria is implemented by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation (FMWR&S) and covers four (4) River Basin Development Authority catchment areas namely: Upper Benue, Upper Niger, Sokoto-Rima and Anambra-Imo River Basins.
