The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL). The project is implemented in the state by the State Project Management Unit (SPMU). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payment for the supply of heavy machinery to reclaim degraded land in Adamawa State. The Project is specifically designed to build peoples resilience in the adaptation of climate change in the Adamawa State.
