The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement and Installation of Nitrogen Plant Equipment at Artificial Insemination Center and Equipping and Installation of Artificial Insemination, Embryo Transfer, and Semen Collection & Processing Equipment at three (3) Artificial Insemination Centers – under Borno L-PRES Project. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.
