BACKGROUND
The Sustainable Mechanisms for Improving Livelihoods and Household Empowerment (SMILE) consortium led by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is a five-year project (April 2013 -March 2018) funded by the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Umbrella Grant Mechanism (UGM) award, to scale-up of care and support services for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and their families in five states of Benue, Edo, FCT, Kogi and Nasarawa.
