A. BACKGROUND
Family Health International (FHI 360) is a non- profit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. FHI 360 is currently implementing the “Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC)” project, which is a Seven-year global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Although originally designed as an HIV program, Epic has been modified to accept Pillar 2 COVID-19 funding to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and strengthen health systems to address COVID-19 and re-emergence.
