I. Background The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is an alliance driven by the vision of a world without malnutrition. Created in 2002 at a Special Session of the UN General Assembly on Children, GAIN supports public-private partnerships to increase access to the missing nutrients in diets necessary for people, communities, and economies to be stronger and healthier. GAIN is seeking proposals to strengthen financial oversight and build the financial management capacity of partner organizations, GAIN seeks the services of a Grant and Partner Financial Management Consultant.

The Consultant will support the monthly review of partners’ financial reports, conduct routine checks, provide timely feedback, provide capacity-building support to the partner organisation in areas where weaknesses have been identified. and contribute to the overall improvement of financial systems and practices across partner organizations.
