1. The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development has received financing from the World Bank and the L’Agence Francaise de Developpement (French Development Agency or AFD) and on lent the financing to nineteen participating states (namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ebonyi and Osun) toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for construction of 6Nos. Cross Drainage Structures in Kano State. This contract will be financed jointly by the International Development Association (IDA), AFD and Kano State Government. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.
