1. INTRODUCTION
the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (“the Commission”) or “NERC”) was established by the Electricity Power Sector Reform (“EPSR”) Act 2004, which has subsequently been repealed by the Electricity Act (“EA 2023” or the “act”) of 2023 NERC is mandated by the Electricity Power Reform Act (“EPSRA”) and its repealing act, the electricity act to oversee the Nigerian electricity sector and ensure efficient industry operation, optimal utilization of resources for the provision of electricity services, establish appropriate consumer rights and obligations regarding the provision of electricity services and monitor the operation of the electricity market. The commission wishes to invites experienced and competent service providers to submit an expression of interest for the under-listed services.
