1. The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has applied for financing from the World Bank and L’Agence Francaise de Development (French Development Agency of AFD) and on-lent the financing to nineteen participating states (namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ebonyi and Osun) towards the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Spot Improvement of 74.76km rural roads in Ondo State. This contract will be jointly financed by the International Development Agency or AFD). Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations.
