OPPORTUNITY TITLE: PURCHASE OF GENERATORS

Requirements
Nigeria’s 200 million population generates an estimated 32 million metric tons of waste annually, with plastic accounting for 2.5 million metric tons. Nigeria Plastic Solutions Activity is a two-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Coca-Cola Foundation and implemented by TechnoServe. The objective of the project is to reduce plastic waste by increasing the volume and quality of recycled plastics. This objective will be achieved through inclusive, market-driven interventions along the value chain and an enabling environment that will improve the competitiveness, sustainability, and profitability of collectors, aggregators, and recyclers. With a particular focus on Anambra and Lagos States, the Nigeria Plastic Solutions Activity aims to enhance the capabilities of approximately 9,500 collectors, 24 aggregators, and 10 recyclers to process 49,000 tons of plastic waste.

In line with the objective of the project, TechnoServe intends to shortlist eligible firms for the supply and installation of various plastic recycling equipment and personal protective equipment required for the implementation of the Nigeria Plastic Solutions Activity in Anambra and Lagos States.
