Description
The Lagos Innovation Center anchors – UNDP Nigeria’s Innovation intent – seeking to identify, test and deploy new approaches, practices, models and solutions to solving frontier development challenges. The Center taps into Nigeria’s growing innovation ecosystem that is- startup culture, creative economy, private sector and agility of young people as key levers of socio-economic transformation. While there is a strong focus on job creation and entrepreneurship, the Programs of the centre also seek to test models for urban and public sector innovation, identify pathways for digital transformation, while also tracking fast-changing socio-economic trends and their implications to the future of international development.
