CONSTRUCTION OF MOTORISED SOLAR SCHEMES AND SANITATION FACILITIES IN MISAU LGA BAUCHI, BAUCHI STATE
INVITATION TO TENDER AND INSTRUCTION TO TENDERERS

1.0 PREAMBLE
WATER AID NIGERIA with funding from DP World, to implement Increasing Access to Sustainable Climate Research WASH for women in Bauchi state hereby invites tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the construction of three (3) motorised solar schemes, two (2) sanitation facilities all in Misau Local Government Area Bauchi State.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
Waste facilities:
• LOT 1: Tofu community
• LOT 2: Fulatari community
• LOT 3: Guruduba community

Sanitation facilities:
• LOT 4: Madakeri market
• LOT 5: Misau Motor Park

3.0 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Companies interested in participating in Marketing process are to submit their company profiles which must contain the following:
i. Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii. Evidence of Company audited financial account and Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2022, 2023 and 2024);
iii. Evidence of membership of the relevant professional association or organization (PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, BPP).
iv. List of certified Board Members showing their designation on the Board.
v. The forwarding letter submitting the bid documents should be signed by the Chairman of the Board on his alternate.
vi. Resume of key technical staff (Geologist or Hydrogeologists, civil Engineer or Electro-Mechanical Engineer, Buildings Engineer) stating their years of experience, relevant past work done and evidence of membership of a professional body (COREN/COMEG or their equivalent).
vii. Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of awards and Completion Certificates within the past three (3) years; also, indicate the financial value of these similar projects.
viii. Certified copies of company bank statements in the last 6 months (No reference letters).
ix. Description and list of relevant equipment owned by the company, including proof of ownership or lease or license over the equipment.
x. A work plan indicating how the work will be carried out from start to finish and the number of days required to complete the work.
xi. Evidence of site visits to the communities/sites in the form of photographic evidence.

4.0 ACCESS AND SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS AND COMPANY PROFILES
Interested bidders are to visit Women Development Association for Self-Sustenance (WODASS) at No. 17 Tafawa Balewa Road GDSS Junction, Dass Bauchi State to access the bid documents or call the following phone numbers 08065308457. A non-refundable administrative charge of N25,00 would be paid by all interested bidders to account details that would be provided by the responsible.

Submission of tender documents shall commence from 7th April to 22nd April 2025 between 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays. Completed tender documents and company profile, which shall be in Three copy (ONE original and TWO photocopies), containg spreadsheet copy of the completed BOQ and copies of other bid documents are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the company’s Name, at the top left-hand corner, and addressed to:

Women Development Association for Self-Sustenance (WODASS)

Sealed envelopes will be received at WODASS at No. 17 Tafawa Balewa Road GDSS Junction, Dass Bauchi State until noon of 22nd April 2025. Bid opening shall follow at 12:30 pm of 22nd April at the same venue.

5.0 MANDATORY SITE VISIT
Mandatory Visit to the site must be carried out by all Tenderers. This visit will take place within the tender period. Tenderers are to take photo shots and GPS Coordinate of the locations as evidenced in compliance.

All expenses incurred in preparing an “Invitation to Tender” response and all expenses otherwise associated with the “Invitation to Tender” responses shall be borne solely by the prospective company.
