INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST OF FIRMS FOR THE FEASIBILITY STUDY OF OKENE WATER SCHEMES
(JOINT PROJECTS FOR IJUMU, KABBA/BUNU, KOGI, LOKOJA, MOPAMURO, YAGBA EAST AND YAGBA WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF KOGI STATE)

1.0 BACKGROUND
The Koton-Karfi and Isanlu water schemes are wholly owned by the Kogi State Government. The State Government operated and maintained same until the late 90s when the projects were abandoned, noting that the project, when functional, would be of immense benefit to our people. We the above listed Local Government Areas agreed to come together to jointly finance their resuscitation, with Yagba East Local Government as our secretariat.
